Fieldtrip

East has participated in the Fieldtrip exhibition. Nicola Ray travelled to Graz and explored the river Mur, historic wells, reservoirs, the culverted canals and other water routes which negotiate the city of Graz. Recording the spatial relationships created by the numerous crossings, built forms and water revealed a variety of occupations with an unexpected richness of curious spatial moments along the water edges

An exhibition of East's work exploring the practice's interest in places, uses and people.

Ten projects are shown through objects, writing, photography and drawings exploring East's approach to context, multi-headed clients, edge spaces, materiality and workmanship; locating the need for architecture and generosity.
