Oxleas Interpretation Centre
Nursery and Community Centre building study.
Prepared alongside the Shooters Hill Strategy for Greenwich Leisure Services we studied how to extend and convert the former cafe building at Oxleas Meadow to become a visitor and interpretation centre.
The defunct toilet block is upgraded and extended using a bag-like envelope, able to accommodate flexible spaces including exhibition and interpretation spaces, events, seating, crèche play allotments, and other uses able to benefit from the beautiful wide sloping views across Oxleas Meadows.
