Consultation
We like to talk about places and how they are used, what people feel about them, what they do there and what they would like to do. For consultation to be meaningful and worth engaging with it is important to be clear about how it can influence a process, which other consultation processes have already taken place and if opportunities exist for tying in with already planned or other necessary consultations or events. We often find ourselves placed within a situation that is already moving at top speed by the time we become involved.
We consider the consultation process to be a design task in itself, that is project specific, and need to be planned carefully, developed and supported throughout the period of a project.
