Acton Town Square
A close involvement of local residents and businesses was an integral part of this project since 2002 when public consultation identified key issues and opportunities for improvements to the space.
With changes happening on the ground it was essential to the success of the project to maintain dialogue with the communities that use the space. A key way to do this is to monitor changes as they happen and make feedback from that process publicly accessible.
We made fold out postcards that spelt out the details of all times, dates, contacts and activities and distributed these to over 8000 people. We are also holding interviews with people affected by the changes and will make a film to help enable people to keep involved in the process and get the chance to feed back their response to the project.
