Erith Town Centre
We have been involved in the emerging development of Erith in ways that are intended to improve the outcome and realise aspirations for the place. In conjunction with the London Development Agency we have provided creative and spatial direction for the brief for the Erith framework plan and have subsequently worked alongside the consultants in carrying out the study.
In conjunction with the GLA and Bexley Council we have also been involved in detailed design for two key new spaces in Erith which form part of the Mayor’s 100 open spaces strategy for London. These are intended to build upon the existing qualities of Erith; gravel beaches, open urban structure, complex hill geometries, and startling proximities of different buildings ad spaces.
