East held an extraordinary role for the landscape and urban design aspects of the 60,000 seat stadium in Holloway and associated development; tenuously located between the council, developers, businesses, design team and client group to try to negotiate frictions, misunderstandings, shared interests, to bring together designs produced in separate offices by different consultants, and to question what regeneration could really mean here.

Landscape proposals at the stadium include new concourse paving and high quality screen fencing; double walled to accommodate trees, refreshment kiosks, lights, toilets, seating, and ventilation shafts in order to keep the concourse clear and open. We were also involved in the location, arrangement and design of the two new large bridges crossing the Drayton Park rail cutting.
The team included Hepher Dixon, Steer Davies Gleave, HOK and CZWG.
