East and Maccreanor Lavington have been selected as one of four finalist teams chosen for the final round of The Royal Academy of Arts’ ideas contest for the capital’s brownfield sites.
Proposals by the Ministry of Justice aim to review the provision of court and tribunal estate and seek to review efficiency of built stock. The team sees this as an opportunity to go beyond achieving financial efficiency, and create a more positive and rich urban engagement of these buildings with the city they represent, becoming mixed and available to all.
On Monday, 16 November 2015, an open public crit will be held at the Royal Academy in which all the shortlisted ideas will be presented. More info here.
