Parish Wood Park
This project developed enhancements to the river channel, involving the creation of a wetland habitat area (including standing water, a reed bed and wet marginal areas), along with improvements to access, paths and useability of the park as a whole. The introduction of a wildflower meadow and additional native planting increased the biodiversity of the site. Phase 1 involved negotiations with Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School to swap a section of land, enabling the creation of a Bexley-owned entrance way to the east of the park.
