We are recruiting in response to a range of new and expanding projects in housing and public realm.
We are seeking part 2 assistants, recent graduates and experienced, as well as a landscape graduate, ideally with practice experience.

Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Candidates should have the following:
- experience in housing and an interest in the public realm, and the flexibility to work in both areas.
- excellent communication, conceptual, drawing, graphic and design skills.
- a passionate and wide-ranging knowledge of architecture and landscapes.
- attention to detail and the creativity and persistence to find solutions that build on strategies and ideas specific to each place.
- understanding of different procurement routes
- a good understanding of UK Building Regulations and an interest in working within the constraints of the wider framework of guidance and regulations.
- some experience in all RIBA work stages
- proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe suite, Rhino and Sketchup.
- experience of working in Revit and BIM beneficial.
These skills should ideally be evidenced within your CV/portfolio.
In addition, candidates must have:
- fluency in both written and spoken English.
- proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Candidates should have the following:
- experience in housing and an interest in the public realm, and the flexibility to work in both areas.
- excellent communication, conceptual, drawing, graphic and design skills.
- some experience in all RIBA work stages, with experience working on projects at RIBA Stage 3-5 and writing specifications preferred.
- proficiency in Revit and BIM.
- we also use Vectorworks, Adobe suite, Sketchup and Rhino.
- up to date knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations.
- understanding of different procurement routes
- a passionate and wide-ranging knowledge of architecture and landscapes.
- attention to detail and the creativity and persistence to find solutions that build on strategies and ideas specific to each place.
These skills should ideally be evidenced within your CV/portfolio.
In addition, candidates must have:
- two years minimum post-RIBA Part 2 experience in the UK
- fluency in both written and spoken English.
- proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Landscape Assistant
We are looking for a landscape assistant to work on projects from concept design through to implementation on site. You will assist in preparing relevant information for planning, tender, and construction stages including 3D visuals, schedules for costing, detail design drawings, and planting plans and management and maintenance schedules.
East is particularly in interested in working across landscape, public space and architectural projects in a fully integrated way. We are seeking a landscape architect who is open, to think beyond ‘the red line’ with a focus on generosity for existing and new users, liveability and place. An understanding and interest in the relationship between buildings and landscape is, therefore, crucial.
Candidates should have the following:
— knowledge of planting design and ecology
— excellent communication skills and the ability to develop, draw and communicate design ideas from early concepts through to technical stages.
— a passionate and wide-ranging knowledge of landscape architecture and placemaking.
— attention to detail and the creativity and persistence to find solutions that build on strategies and ideas specific to each place
— experience of landscape detailing as part of preparing construction information preferred.
— an understanding of the framework of guidance and regulations at local and national levels.
— proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe suite, Rhino and Sketchup.
— understanding of working in Revit and BIM as part of a wider team.
These skills should ideally be evidenced within your CV/portfolio.
In addition candidates must have:
— fluency in both written and spoken English.
— proof of eligibility to work in the UK
