Barbican Tree Talks

Julian will present East’s work under the heading ‘Rates of Interest’ at the next Tree Talk in the Barbican on 15 May 2023. Titled Money Trees the event will compare practices and policies in different European countries and discuss limits of growth.

Bream street has been shortlisted for the RIBA Awards London region. East’s affordable housing and public realm at Bream Street, Hackney Wick is part of a larger development led by AHMM. The project also won the Housing Project of the Year category in this years Building Awards.

Architecture Foundation’s Research Fellowship

Judith has received the first Architecture Foundation’s Research Fellowship.
Tree Talks, an event at the Barbican on 25th January 2023 will act as the starting point for the London Arboretum, a programme of residencies talks and publications around the cultural and social role of trees in London.

East have won the AYA Public Realm Architect of the Year Award. Brent Cross Exploratory, for Argent Related, was one of the key projects submitted along with Bollo Lane, for TfL, and Beckenham High Street improvements, for Bromley Council.
