Landscape Architect

Archie is a chartered landscape architect and urban designer, developing East’s landscape arm, with a focus on leading landscape specific projects, growing in-house knowledge through design review, chartership mentoring and CPDs. Since joining East he has worked on several landscape and public realm projects, most recently leading the Oxford Street Transformation Project where he has been exploring the historic and cultural status of the street, the careful re-use of materials and the testing of behaviour through a series of experimental interventions. He also worked for several years in the public sector as client and designer, first through the Public Practice programme at Thurrock Council and then at Be First, Barking and Dagenham’s regeneration company. In this time, he helped lead the delivery of co-designed public spaces in complex regeneration contexts as well as large scale green infrastructure projects.
Archie sits on both the City of Westminster and London Borough of Barnet’s design review panels.
