Dann is responsible for communicating with clients and developing the design direction for projects that span all scales, from citywide strategies to streets, homes and community spaces. He is closely involved in the development of all projects from their inception to completion.
He graduated from University of East London and Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. Since he graduated in 1998, he has been teaching diploma units at University of East London, Academia de Architetura di Mendrisio, Switzerland, the Cass School of Architecture and Umeå School of Architecture, Sweden. He regularly lectures in the UK, Europe and Brazil, and was a Research Fellow at the Royal College of Art from 2014-18. He has run and contributed to international workshops in Belgium, Sweden, Portugal and Brazil.
Dann is particularly interested in urban situations, where architecture and uses come together, and buildings form part of an urban landscape, a public realm, experienced in varied ways across time.
Recent projects include the West Croydon Interchange, Custom House Regeneration (LB Newham) and the Aylesbury Estate (LB Southwark).
He has been a member of various advisory and design review panels across London, and is currently a member of Tower Hamlets Conservation and Design Advisory Panel.
