Siobhan O'Keeffe

Associate

BA(hons) First Class, DipArch

Siobhan O’Keeffe’s varied experience of delivering work on site has cultivated an enjoyment of balancing the practicalities of multiple stakeholders and the realities of how to extract maximum impact from a budget.

Recently she has been leading East’s work at Beckton Corridor and at Chase Lane Park, a LUF and SANGs funded play and landscape scheme. She has previously worked on Waltham Forest High Streets and detailed design and construction for Sacred Heart School.

Siobhan has led a third year design studio at the Welsh School of Architecture since 2020 with an emphasis on looking closely at existing places and designing within their existing physical, social and political frameworks. She has also been a tutor for WSA’s module Issues in Contemporary Architecture. She has previously worked for AOC.

Work in practice and in academia has cultivated a curiosity for looking at what already exists with a constructive gaze to build upon the beauty that already exists.

An interest in how people can help shape places has led to roles as a trustee and fundraising lead for two Community Playgroups, organising multiple events, sourcing donations from local businesses and successfully applying for grants.

Siobhan leads on contract management and community engagement.
