Custom House Residential Masterplan
The Custom House Regeneration Project is an extraordinary Council led co-design project. This is a close collaboration that started with a series of design workshops and extensive community engagement at the local project hub, the former post office. Our work holds buildings and spaces together in use and form to help shape the neighbourhood; bringing the public realm to the foreground through careful placement of active ground floor uses, entrances and play spaces as part of a strategy for the wider neighbourhood. Our building designs here have been informed by this perspective. A new Station Square and Village Green are part of a network of public spaces and new streets; these will give new visibility and clarity to the local economy and community uses.
