London Arboretum Book
London Arboretum Book
The London Arboretum book reflects critically on the claim that London is a forest, and argues for trees to be seen as protagonists, not technical fixes or decorative afterthoughts. Through social history, photography and original drawings the book develops a taxonomy of tree spaces in the city, from the ancient woodland of Epping Forests via community orchards in Hackney to the annual Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square.
