White Hart High Street Housing

We worked with Enfield Council to develop proposals for an important but underused site on the High Street. The site sits at the junction of a quiet route between the town centre and the reservoirs — very close by, but invisible — to the east.

A clear domestic language is developed for residential doors, windows and loggias which, combined with the carefully organised arrangement of the blocks, offer a strong sense of ‘a place to come home to’, and affords residents the possibility of enjoying a sense of communality without the need for constant eye contact.
